Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how AdBlock AI processes information when you use the AdBlock AI browser extension, related billing pages, and the premium entitlement service.
1. Who We Are
AdBlock AI is a Chromium browser extension that filters network requests and page elements to reduce ads, trackers, sponsored content, cookie walls, and similar intrusive content.

2. What This Policy Covers
This policy covers:
- The AdBlock AI extension running in Chromium-based browsers.
- Premium checkout, restore, and account management pages used by AdBlock AI.
- The premium entitlement backend used to validate premium access status.
3. Information We Process

| Support communications | Messages you send by email or WhatsApp. | To respond to support requests, including missing premium activation. | Email or messaging providers you use to contact us. |
4. How AdBlock AI Uses Information
- To block ads, trackers, sponsored elements, cookie banners, YouTube promotions, and other intrusive content.
- To apply optional features such as adult-site blocking and YouTube adult-content filtering.
- To remember settings such as whitelist domains, imported filter lists, and custom rules.
- To show local user-facing statistics such as blocked ads, blocked trackers, and protected pages.
- To support premium purchase, entitlement checks, restore purchase, and account management if you choose premium.
- To respond to customer support requests.
5. What Stays Local in the Browser
The following is designed to stay local in your browser and is not sent to our servers for filtering decisions:
- Page content inspected by content scripts to identify ads or intrusive elements.
- Most request matching and filtering logic used by the extension.
- Whitelist entries, custom selectors, and custom rules, unless you export or share them yourself.
- Popup statistics such as local counts of ads or trackers blocked.
6. When Information Leaves the Browser
Premium checkout and restore
If you buy or restore premium, the extension may send your email address and a small amount of service metadata, such as plan choice, source, and extension identifier, to the premium entitlement backend.
Payment processing
Premium payments are processed through Razorpay or another configured payment provider. Payment providers may collect billing and transaction information directly from you under their own privacy terms.
Remote filter lists
If you add a remote filter-list URL, the extension fetches text rules from that URL. The remote host may receive standard network request information such as your IP address and request headers, as with any normal web request.
7. Sharing of Information
We do not sell user data.
We may share limited information only with service providers needed to operate the premium service, such as:
- Payment processors, for example Razorpay.
- Hosting, database, and email delivery providers used for premium billing and support.
- Remote list providers, but only if you choose to add their URLs manually.
We do not use or transfer user data for advertising unrelated to AdBlock AI, for creditworthiness decisions, or for data brokerage.
8. Retention
- Local extension settings remain in browser storage until you change them, clear extension data, or uninstall the extension.
- Premium account and transaction records may be retained as long as needed to provide purchases, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and prevent abuse.
- Support messages may be retained for customer service and troubleshooting.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information related to AdBlock AI. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Choices
- You can disable the extension or pause filtering at any time.
- You can whitelist websites, remove custom rules, and remove imported filter lists.
- You can choose not to purchase premium and continue using the free version.
- You can contact us to request help with premium billing or support issues.
11. Children
AdBlock AI is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the extension.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
